Young Man Kang's 'Prayer International Series' Continues in Atlanta. 

Los Angeles, CA – Young Man Kang, a prominent filmmaker and content creator and Guinness World Record Holder for the lowest budget film to open in USA theaters, is gearing up to continue his 'Prayer International Series.' The next episode is scheduled to take place in Atlanta during the first week of April, featuring talented local actors from the city.  

This production YMK Films/Hollywood Series Corp., is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, specializing in digital content creation, including short and long-form digital series. Additionally, they are the organizers of two webfest events: LA WEBFEST 2024 and Hollywood Series 2024. Over time, both festivals have established partnerships with the Atlanta Film & Webfest International. 

The 'Prayer International Series' is an extraordinary project that highlights the journeys of young individuals striving to achieve their dreams in major cities across the globe. While the overarching theme remains consistent, each story is distinctive, capturing the essence of the local artists and the language of the city. Each episode is set in a picturesque location, celebrating the diversity of cultures and promoting tourism.

The series has recently completed successful shoots in Rio with local actresses. To date, 13 episodes have been produced, featuring cities such as Istanbul, Rome, Seoul, Los Angeles, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Honolulu, Lima, Cusco, Toronto, Vancouver, Rio and San Salvador. Now, Young Man Kang and his team are embarking on their next adventure in Atlanta as the 14th episode.

No seu currículo, soma diversos curtas-metragens e web-séries, além de série na Netflix e novelas na rede Record. Seu trabalho mais recente foi a série "Stupid Wife" – com 3 temporadas e dois especiais e hoje soma de mais de 100 milhões de visualizações no Youtube. Seu trabalho teve o reconhecimento como Melhor atriz de drama no festival Rio WebFest no ano de 2022, além de melhor elenco, série e série brasileira; e também no festival Asia Web Awards, no mesmo ano. Já foi premiada por outros trabalhos, entre eles ‘Magenta’ (melhor elenco de drama) e copo descartável (melhor atriz de terror).

Amanda Simão

Amanda Simão, maringaense com descendência Libanesa, formada em Artes Cênicas e Design de Moda. Se formou na Escola Superior de Artes Cênicas Célia Helena, em São Paulo.Fez peças teatrais, longa metragem e documentário, webséries, trabalhos como apresentadora e dançarina.

“Sempre gostei de me desafiar, sou apaixonada por viver o que me oportuniza o amadurecimento, reflexão, troca e sensibilidade. Na arte me encontrei e ela me permite viver um protagonismo único e liberto!”
